Writer's Symposium News!
 
The Virginia Writers Club, Inc. has announced the next VWC Navigating Your Writing Life Symposium will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, at The Dickinson Fine and Performing Arts Center on the campus of Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mark your calendars. More details forthcoming.

SARA ALLEN grew up in the Appalachian mountains developing her love of nature and writing. She graduated with a B.S. in English and has taught literature and writing for various age groups over the years. She enjoys writing poetry, children's books, and novels, as well as blogging.

Sara conducted a poetry workshop for
members in celebration of National Poetry Month.
